South Social Film Festival (SSFF), one of the most proactive events platforms in London celebrating diversity, community inclusion and emerging talent, is hosting the second edition of the LONDON BALTIC FILM FESTIVAL (LBFF) on 28-30 October at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith.

    London baltic film festival 2023

SSFF will once again, team up with the Embassies of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, Estonian Film Institute, National Film Centre of Latvia, Lithuanian Film Centre and Lithuanian Culture Institute, to host the LBFF, with 6 handpicked premieres from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania over the 3-day event!

The selected films reflect the region’s cinematic diversity, ranging from experimental arthouse to more traditional narrative structures. They explore such complex themes as mental health, female identity and social issues in a fresh and often humorous way.

LBFF is a hub for East-West dialogue, a space for networking and creative interactions, and above all a celebration of diversity.

Tickets are £13 general, £11 senior, £6,50 student and £25 LBFF pass (3 days- 6 films) Here’s the link www.southsocialfilmfestival.co.uk

Founder and Director of South Social Film Festival, Paola Melli, said:
“The second edition of the LONDON BALTIC FILM FESTIVAL is richer and
stronger than ever. We have an excellent lineup of 6 Baltic premieres that truly
represent the jagged panorama of today’s Baltic cinema. We present both
young and upcoming filmmakers alongside more established ones. Many of the
films deal with current social issues such as international adoption, work harassment and collective grief. They open the way for a deeper understanding of Baltic cinema today.”
