LIDO Festival, the newest addition to London’s summer calendar, announces that London Grammar will headline on Sunday 15 June as a London festival exclusive, joined by Celeste, Roisin Murphy, Pip Millett, The Blessed Madonna, Wasia Project, Maverick Sabre, Neil Frances present Club NF, Dan Whitlam, Holly Walker and Clementine Douglas.

    London Grammar LIDO Festival 2025

The multi-platinum selling group will join previously announced headliners Jamie xx (Saturday 7 June), OUTBREAK Fest (Friday 13 June) and Charli xcx’s own party girl festival (Saturday 14 June).

London Grammar (Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major) have long been a formidable presence in British music, and their latest album, The Greatest Love (2024), only solidifies that status. Known for their masterful fusion of sparse electronic pop and Reid’s dramatic, soulful vocals, the trio have drawn comparisons to contemporaries such as Lana Del Rey and Florence + The Machine.

Their journey began with the release of their debut album If You Wait in 2013, which soared to No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and achieved double platinum status. Four years later, their follow-up, Truth Is a Beautiful Thing (2017), became their first UK No. 1 album, showcasing a more cinematic sound and collaborations with artists including Tom Misch, Paul Epworth, and Jon Hopkins.

After taking a creative hiatus to write new material, London Grammar returned in 2021 with Californian Soil, a turning point for the band. This album saw Reid stepping into a more prominent songwriting role, weaving empowering feminist themes into their lush, evocative soundscapes. Their latest release, The Greatest Love, marks another evolution, reflecting Reid’s personal growth through motherhood and marriage. The album, which reached the UK Top 3, features standout tracks such as the hauntingly beautiful single “House” and celebrates the band’s creative freedom after over a decade in the industry.

Having sold over 3 million albums worldwide, with two No. 1 records, an Ivor Novello Award, and multiple BRIT Award nominations, London Grammar has achieved rare longevity. The trio, who first met as teenagers at university, have headlined major stages across the UK, including All Points East and Latitude Festival, as well as sold-out shows at iconic venues like Alexandra Palace, with their live performances praised by The Independent as “a very immersive big gig experience”. Last year, they sold out the London O2 as part of their sold-out European Arena Tour. Poised to headline LIDO Festival, London Grammar are set to deliver a show that perfectly balances intimacy with cinematic grandeur.

Joining London Grammar on their illustrious LIDO line-up is music icon Celeste. The music visionary broke onto the scene in 2019, winning the Rising Star Award at the BRIT Awards. Following the major success of her debut album, Not Your Muse, Celeste was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Female Solo Artist and Best New Artist at the 2021 Brit Awards. Since then, the musician has released her hauntingly brilliant new single ‘Everyday’, via Polydor Records, is title to track to the Eddie Redmayne-fronted assassin series, The Day of the Jackal. For fans of Amy Winehouse, Billie Holiday and Jorja Smith, Celeste remains an act you can’t miss.

Across her illustrious career, Roísín Murphy, the eclectic Irish musician and one half of 1990s pop duo, Moloko, has unflinchingly created music without a filter. Produced by DJ Koze, her latest album Hit Parade was critically acclaimed, earning praise from The Guardian, Pitchfork, NME and The Independent. A top 10 chart topper, Murphy’s frenetic, frenzied and meta-live style is unmissable.

Pip Millett’s ascent is unstoppable. The Ghetts-approved singer and songwriter is one of R&B’s most promising UK artists. Armed with a vibrant and soulful sound, Millett is proving the scene is her for the taking. Her 2022 album release, When Everything is Better, I’ll Let You Know, was a top pick for BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, i-D, Mixmag, CRACK and more. Now, the Manchester-born singer will be bringing her celestial sound to the LIDO festival.

Renowned American DJ and producer The Blessed Madonna – real name Marea Stamper – will be bringing a set to remember at this year’s LIDO line-up. Known for her complex and unpredictable tunes, Stamper has collaborated with some of the biggest names you can think of: Dua Lipa, Madonna Missy Elliot, and Gwen Stefani. Today, she’s become a trailblazer in music, earning a Virgin Atlantic Attitude Award in music last year and was hailed Mixmag’s DJ of the year in 2026, becoming the first person to receive the honour.

Wasia Project also joins London Grammar at London’s LIDO festival. Formed in 2019 by Will Gao and Olivia Hardy, the siblings draw on their British-East Asian heritage and classical music training to create emotive contemporary pop. In 2023, their hit song ‘Ur So Pretty’ featured on Netflix’s viral LGBTQIA+ series Heartstopper. Since then, the duo have been on an unstoppable rise, lauded as ones to watch by The Guardian.

Irish singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre first came onto the scene in 2011. Since then, the Hackney-born musician has emerged as one of the UK’s instantly recognisable acts. His mega-hit ‘Slow Down (feat. Jorja Smith)’ has amassed over 327 million streams on Spotify. On his latest release, the singer reunites with long-time collaborator British DJ Shy FX on an acoustic edition of ‘Risk It All’. With over 4 million Spotify listeners, Sabre’s cross-genre sound of reggae, rock, folk marks him as one of today’s most exciting musicians.

Los Angeles-based alt-pop outfit Neil Frances also joins the LIDO line-up. The Aussie duo are for fans of LCD Soundsystem, the act are known for their high energy club-ready sets, pulling on influences from rave music, soul, funk and hip-hop. With 3.9 million listeners online, Neil Frances will present Club NF and bring an unstoppable party to LIDO.

Newcomer Dan Whitlam is a true multi-disciplinary creative. A poet, spoken word artist and soulful rap musician, Whitlam is the latest act joining the LIDO line-up. Picked up as an emerging act by NME and DIY, the Londoner has amassed a combined following of over 650k on TikTok, Instagram and Spotify. In 2022, Whitlam made his mark with the release of his introspective single ‘Young Minds’ featuring Fredrick James, which has over 1.9 million streams. Whitlam’s powerful blend of rap and poetry continues to spellbind listeners with its sincerity, grit and ode to the spoken word.

Holly Walker also joins LIDO’s exciting festival bill. Known for her work with electronic outfit Maribou State, the singer and talented songwriter will introduce crowds to a world of funk-pop hits. Lauded as a diamond-sharp musician by The Guardian, this won’t be the last you’ll be hearing of Walker.

Birmingham-born musician Clementine Douglas has done it all. Hallmarked as a breakout artist by NME, Douglas has collaborated with all the big producers of today, from Blessed Madonna, David Guetta, TSHA Sonny Foder and more. In a matter of years, Douglas is creating music with her own imprint — and her talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2022, she was awarded Radio 1’s Dance Vocalist of the Year award. Now, with over 6.8 million monthly listeners (and plenty of club and festival anthems to hand), Douglas is bringing her flair to this year’s LIDO festival.

LIDO is putting artists first and handing them control, for a festival entirely programmed by the headliners. They will bring their favourite artists, collaborators, newly tipped artists and their own style to each day. From the acts to the artwork and stage design – every aspect is personal to them. Named after Victoria Park’s Lido Field, the 10-day event will offer hand-picked music line-ups with a strong focus on sustainability, as well as community events during the week.
