London Shuffle have helped establish shuffleboarding as the most exciting way to while away an afternoon or evening in the capital. Now, they innovate once more by introducing you to the delicious delights of campfire treat S’mores as they open their brand new, fully-covered winter terrace on 10th November at The London Shuffle Club.
The outdoor terrace that has welcomed thousands of shuffleboarders over summer has been stylishly repurposed for winter. The newly converted outdoor area has been aptly named Winter in S’moreditch after its East London location. The outdoor lanes have gone (and will return in Spring) to be replaced by several large U shaped seating areas each accommodating up to 10 people.
The terrace will be covered with specially designed winter parasols to keep the elements out. Each cosy seating area will have its own open fire pit and to add to the authentic, wintry theme there will be faux fur rugs, warming throws and plenty of other alpine comforts to create a calming hygge environment that is utterly relaxing and escapist; a perfectly snug place to retreat from winter.
Accompanying this is a special new campfire menu and you can look forward to falling in love with a new foodie treat known as S’mores. Popular in America and Canada they are made from roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham cracker – a spicy, ginger delight from the States. Guests will be given their own S’mores ingredients to assemble and hand-toast on the crackling campfire from the comfort of their own snug.
In addition, London Shuffle Club’s highly regarded winter cocktails will be served from the terrace Airstream. Designed to warm your cockles, the Wolf’s Tooth mixes Union Mezcal with Arrette Tequila, chilli, winter spice and chocolate while the Hans-On-Gretel fuses Koskenkorva Sauna with dry cider, apple, lemon and honey. The Blueberry Glogg combines classic flavours such as Blueberry and Juniper with Ruby Port, Oloroso Sherry, Abbots Bitters, Cinnamon and red wine.
