New multi-instrumentalist & songwriter Lou Stone shares his debut single ‘Fictions’, taken from his upcoming EP which is set for release on November 30th.
Instantly capturing the listener is Lou’s stand-out vocal delivery – restrained and tender with a soulful conviction far beyond his years. Lou has been singing since he can remember, growing up surrounded by his father’s Bowie records. A music loving family inspired him to start writing his own songs from a young age, and although a Londoner by birth, much of his youth was spent in Sydney and Montreal.
Fictions isn’t just a showcase for Lou’s incredible vocal talents, but a sure-footed illustration of what to expect from his first EP; sonically coherent & masterfully produced, introspective yet bold. Of this first single, Lou commented: “Fictions is a meditation on all the swirling uncertainty that goes with the end of any relationship. The bones of the song came naturally, and I love how it came to life in the studio”.
