Luxury shoe brand LU VIXEN presents for the first time during London Fashion Week at the prestigious Hotel Cafe Royal on 17th February 2020.
Founder & Creative Director Lulu Al Hassan is a Saudi national who was born in the US where she spent her childhood and her early adult years while studying for her Masters in IT in NYC. Due to her strong passion for shoes, Lulu interrupted her corporate career and left for Milan to partake in an intensive shoemaking and pattern cutting course at the renowned Arsutoria School. She is now an established design figure in KSA where she is licensed to teach design. She currently has her own design show in Saudi TV where she educates viewers on all aspects of design, not just shoes.
LU VIXEN is Al Hassan’s alter ego, a powerful siren who isn’t afraid to show off her sexy and feisty side. She is a daring, sensual and fierce woman who is also gentle and feminine. The LU VIXEN woman commands attention and exudes empowerment through her fearless personal style. She makes a bold statement, especially through the shoes that embellish her feet.
The AW20 collection uses luxurious textures, sophisticated silhouettes and intricate detailing. Beautiful suede. leather, velvet and silk chiffon trims complement a striking palette of fuchsia, orange and lime green. Gold and silver metallic accents are paired with classic black creating a stand-out first collection for Lu Vixen.
Each ruffle fold is free formed and is sewn by hand ensuring each shoe is unique. Every pair is beautifully handcrafted by skilled using luxurious Italian components ensuring Al Hassan’s meticulous attention to detail.
