For Fall/Winter 2025-26, MARYLING presents during Milan Fashion Week “Window into the Future and Light”, a tribute to the art of windows as portals of light. Drawing inspiration from the romanticism of windows as architectural and symbolic elements, the collection invites viewers to explore the interaction between day, night, space and  guided imagination.

Windows serve as practical solutions and simultaneously act as a lens to the outside world, a source of intrigue that reveals glimpses of life: velvet drapes, chandeliers and sunlit glass. MARYLING weaves these images together into a collection that unites history and modernity, celebrating iconic art forms and artists like the photographer Brassaï, the inventor of “readymade” Marcel Duchamp, and the contemporary abstract painter Richard Diebenkorn.

This season’s styles focus on the concept of “light as luxury”, combining geometric motifs presented in prints contrasting with layered open-weave knits that create patterns and shadows, monochrome knits and ornamental prints inspired by decorative motifs found on wrought-iron railings. The collection captures the essence of day and night, reflecting the contrasts of urban landscapes and intimate interiors just like the cinematic magic of “Midnight in Paris”.

A distinctive color palette completes the theme with unique color combinations: dark pink, peach, brown and red, with hints of cool blue and silver tones. The typical, traditional shapes of MARYLING are celebrated in the layering of double-breasted and long belted coats in heavy green weaves and in sophisticated shades of chocolate and camel and warm tones of mocha gray and terracotta.

Rooted in craftsmanship and inspired by the transformative art of blacksmithing, the collection highlights MARYLING’s commitment to creating garments balancing beauty and functionality. Through evocative storytelling and a distinct aesthetic, “Window into the Future and Light” illuminates a path towards timeless style and artistic elegance.

Thanks to its aesthetic and attention to detail, this collection offers an honest, accessible, modular, must-have wardrobe for a contemporary woman. An invitation to enter a world of timeless style where windows inspire and light transforms, it is optimistic and desirable.
