April 28, 2023 – Breakout singer-songwriter Mimi Webb has released “Last Train To London (I Won’t Look Back)” – featuring updated production from Grammy Award-winning musician FINNEAS. FINNEAS adds his own spin to the record, building in a warmer and organic piano production throughout the poignant ballad. The original track, “Last Train To London,” was featured on Mimi’s debut album Amelia, which released last month.

“I played ‘Last Train To London’ to FINNEAS shortly after I wrote it and asked him if he would be willing to put his touch on the record; I couldn’t believe when he said yes! Working with him was a dream come true! His take on the song is perfect and as soon as I heard his version, I wanted to share it with the world,” said Mimi.

“Last Train To London (I Won’t Look Back)” is accompanied by its official music video, directed by Joe Connor – WATCH HERE. With sweeping visuals of the moody countryside and voyeuristic shots looking in on those onboard a warmly lit train. Mimi takes the viewer with her as she literally and metaphorically moves on from heartbreak, eventually taking the final step to leave her failed love behind.

The release follows Mimi’s debut album Amelia, released on March 3, 2023 via EPIC Records. The 12-track album expanded on her signature sound of breakup bops and sentimental ballads, showcased through upbeat anthems such as her latest smash hit “Red Flags,” and “Freezing,” and poignant tracks like “Roles Reversed.” Amelia garnered wide-spread critical acclaim with Rolling Stone praising it, “a vibrant, nostalgic record of her coming-of-age voyage to self-love,” and V Magazine applauding her, “a fiery vocalist setting the pop sphere on fire.”

In just two years the breakout artist has racked up over 1 billion global streams, and multiple chart-topping tracks including “House on Fire,” “Good Without,” and most recently “Red Flags.” Mimi has performed at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in London and on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Graham Norton Show and ELLEN. She was nominated Best New Artist at the 2023 BRIT Awards and will next hit the festival circuit with appearances at Lollapalooza Paris, Reading and Leeds Festival, and more.
