Miart Gallery London is pleased to present: Mixed Mind ..Mixed exhibition…One artist, an important solo exhibition featuring artist Ufuk Uyanik working with various media, including painting, mixed- media technique and light installations.
Mostly focusing on his most recent works, the exhibition runs from May 3rd to 17th, 2022. Exhibition highlights the identity of the gallery, one which unites Art and Humour and fosters discourse between mediums, artistic styles and expressions, temporalities and cultures. This exhibition not only complements and celebrates the creative selection of the gallery but also the selection of contemporary artist being showcased.
Mixed Mind…Mixed exhibition…One artist’s exhibit includes the work of contemporary artist Ufuk Uyanik, who borrow images from masters and masterpieces contexts and set universal standards of individuality and collective visual memory. Uyanik’s canvases allude to elements of popular culture, traditional life, popular and modern painting, lyricism, humour and irony, which all combine in dynamic harmony.
By combining self-elected images from varying periods and cultural connections, with a dissimilar original dialect, he achieves extraordinary artistic richness with an innovative and humorous contemporary impact.
