Built on a slow-burn intensity that erupts into catharsis, the song captures the moment where struggle gives way to surrender where pain softens, and love is finally allowed in.
Co-written and produced by Jesse Shatkin, the visionary hitmaker behind some of modern pops most emotionally resonant records, including his era-defining work with Sia and Kylie alongside writers Calum Landau (Alison Goldfrapp, Ellie Goulding) and GRAMMY-nominated Sia herself with additional production from Myles Avery (Tate McCrae, Megan Thee Stallion), Feels Like Heaven unites a world-class creative team known for transforming raw emotion into timeless, global pop.
Drawing directly from the lyrics emotional arc, Feels Like Heaven traces a journey from wounded resistance to open-hearted healing. Loreens voice moves from restrained, almost feral tension, fist raised to the sky into emotional collapse and rebirth, as she falls learns to let go. In this song, heaven is not a concrete place, but a state of mind. It arrives through self-work, awareness and acceptance, the moment you understand that you are love, and allow yourself to receive it. As the refrain surrendering in your arms repeats, years of anger, fear and self-protection dissolve, revealing a simple truth: heaven and hell are not elsewhere, they exist within us.
When heaven is spoken about here, it isnt a place or a belief system. Its an inner state. Just like hell, it exists in the mind and is experienced in the present moment. Feels Like Heaven is about surrender. Because when you surrender, you create freedom. And freedom is love and love is safety. From that sense of safety comes empathy, clarity, and deeper understanding of our lives and others. Our wellbeing is shaped by the state of our inner world. We suffer when we resist, and we heal when we surrender. In the end, heaven and hell arent destinations, we create them here, through the way we feel, and love, Loreen explains.
Following a wave of social media posts teasing that mother is coming, and projections that appeared across London, Paris and Berlin earlier this week, Loreen unveiled her upcoming album Wildfire set for release on 27th March 2026 which will include her critically praised single “Is It Love”, as well as the global smash “Tattoo”, which topped charts in more than 10 countries and solidified her place as one of the most impactful artists of her generation.
The album will be available across all digital platforms and in multiple physical formats including CD and three versions of the vinyl: day, dusk and midnight edition (depending on location). Pre-order HERE.

Wildfire follows a career-defining catalogue of era-spanning releases, including “Euphoria”, a cultural milestone; alongside “Forever”, “Gravity”, and “Warning Signs”, each exploring themes of love, vulnerability, identity and cosmic connection. Nine years on from her last album and fourteen years since her debut, her work has amassed billions of streams worldwide and established Loreen as one of modern pops most spiritually resonant and emotionally fearless voices.
Beyond her solo work, Loreen has continued to expand her artistic world through SAGES, a fully realised band formed with award-winning Icelandic composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds. The project has become a vital extension of Loreens creative identity, further cementing her credibility as an artist driven by truth, connection and exploration with more to come from SAGES in 2026.
Rooted in her Nomadic heritage and shaped by electronic, dance and global pop influences, Loreens sound exists in a space entirely her own, visceral yet ethereal, intimate yet expansive. With Wildfire, she invites listeners into a journey that embraces the full emotional spectrum: despair and confusion, anger and aggression, pain, sexual energy and release allowing each feeling to exist without judgement. Rather than suppressing or controlling emotion, the record creates space for truth to surface. In Loreens world, power does not come from dominance, but from honesty and it is through that truth that something truer is finally able to rise from the ashes.
Wildfire is out 27th March 2026.
