Ever since I was a little girl my all time favourite Disney film was Aladdin and even through to today I adore it, the storyline, the colour and the world famous, always so magical theme tune “A Whole New World”. Being a huge musicals fan for over a decade, it was always on my mind and a dream as to if Aladdin would ever come to the West End – that dream came true and the magic from Agrabah was brought to London’s West End in 2016 from Broadway.

    Aladdin the musical

I went to see Aladdin at The Prince Edward Theatre in London and I was totally blown away. From the start to the end it was like the animated dream come to life, from the stage and setting, to the colours and costumes to the large characters and adventurous magical storyline.

There are too many favourite acts for me but meeting the genie (Played by Broadways Trevor Dion Nicholas) was a wow moment and full of laughs and joy from the start! Prepare for lots of comedy, singing and dancing to be had leaving you never on your chair for too long. British actor Matthew Croke plays loveable Aladdin whilst Jade Ewen gives an astounding performance as Princess Jasmine.Aladdin the musical mystical magic in london

Every moment in the theatre felt like I was in the Kingdom of Agrabah watching this beautiful yet crazy, manic love story between Aladdin and Princess Jasmine slowly unfold.

Catch Aladdin and his beloved, cheeky yet loyal pet monkey Abu on their thrilling adventure, making all wishes come true with the help of a genie in a lamp. This show is full of colour, excitement and joy. Don’t miss out on this magic carpet ride, and be sure to checkout Aladdin with all the family. Aladdin makes the ideal night out and brings magic to life, featuring over 350 fabulous costumes and the songs as you remember them from the Disney classic.

Be sure to be wooed by an amazing cast and stunning orchestra in this 2hr 30 minute performance and checkout more on Aladdin The Musical, how to book tickets and London’s current Musicals via Encore Tickets at  www.encoretickets.co.uk
