Buffalo, New York-based jewelry designer Nicole Davis of Franci Jewelry and fashion designer Lenshina Nchami shared the stage on March 5, 2023, at Hotel d’Evreux in Paris. The event, held during Paris Fashion Week, saw the designers showcase their latest collections.
Franci Jewelry by Nicole Davis features vintage, extravagant, and sophisticated handmade pieces that incorporate a range of materials, including brass, crystals, and freshwater pearls. Nicole also enjoys reconstructing vintage jewelry to create something new and unique for women. Her designs have been featured in various global publications and have been worn by numerous celebrities.
Nicole Davis said, “I love that I can completely transform an outfit or the way a woman feels about herself with just one piece.” She believes that jewelry can re-imagine every woman’s beauty using one piece and that women should take small risks in fashion.
Lenshina Nchami is the designer and wardrobe stylist behind the Lenshina Nchami brand, which was created in July 2017 under the umbrella of Jordan Park LLC. The brand focuses on modern and feminine designs that are versatile and can be worn by women of all shapes and sizes. Lenshina’s designs feature bold colors, prints, and patterns that are inspired by her African heritage and culture.
Lenshina Nchami said, “My interest in design and fashion started as a young girl, where I would spend hours designing clothes for my dolls.” She believes that fashion is an expression of oneself and that her designs help women to feel confident and beautiful.
