This event was one of a series of events in the Hangzhou British Cultural and Creative Industries Exchange Centre. It is co-sponsored by Hangzhou Cultural Exhibition Co., Ltd. and in December 2019.

Hangzhou British Cultural and Creative Industry Exchange Center was officially unveiled in Nottingham, UK in May 2018, and became the first normalized cultural and creative foreign exchange window established by China in the UK. It aims to strengthen the exchanges between the two sides in the field of cultural and creative industries. In-depth cooperation in sharing, talent cultivation, project introduction, brand promotion, etc. plays an important role in the “going out” and “introduction” of Hangzhou culture.

In view of this, we specially planned this event, inviting Hangzhou Xiling Jiahe Supermodel College to join Zheng Bihong Studio, Shengshengyun, and POINT CHENG to present the three outstanding local fashion designer brands for the purpose of communication and cooperation, and fashion shows and exhibitions. As a form, the modern and stylish expression of traditional aesthetics is displayed through a combination of dynamics and statics, presenting a cultural and artistic visual feast for the Nottingham audience.

The fashion show will be celebrated by well-known actors and models, the fashion director of the Asian Fashion Federation, Xiling Jiahe, together with its trainees, Hangzhou Cheongsam high-end custom brand Bihong Studio and Shengshengyun brand to showcase the beauty of Chinese clothing in the new era. Bihong Studio is good at combining Chinese and Western styles. Western fabrics and Chinese silhouettes are perfectly combined. Cheongsam production follows the cutting and cutting skills of dresses. The design style is simple and elegant. No more than one decoration, many embellishments, hand-painted, embroidered, edging, hemming, research and application of various flower buttons, traditional methods of cheongsam, modern creativity and law. Shengshengyun focuses on the development and design of silk fabric patterns, combining advanced fashion concepts and international vision with the luxury of silk, and subversively re-creates the traditional patterns of silk.

The theme of the exhibition is “Tracks of Time”, showing the buttons in the eyes of POINT CHENG. POINT CHENG is an original clothing brand founded by independent designer Cheng Zi. Cheng Zi uses the “buttons”, “tassel” and “ribbons” in daily life as media and carriers to integrate traditional culture with post-modern art, from point and line to Faces, the collection of related and irrelevant information into an axis. This time Cheng Zi deconstructed and reorganized the buttons, using rotating “wheels”, serial “circles”, overlapping “circles” … to make time in series, as a direct communication language with her aesthetics, to combine ornamental art and practicality Once again clever fusion.

We hope that through this event, cultural and creative exchanges and cooperation between Hangzhou and Nottingham will be further promoted. There will be more opportunities for cooperation in the areas of mutual brand exhibition, talent interaction, and landing of enterprises, so that the British Cultural and Creative Industry Exchange Center in Hangzhou can play a greater role. , Promote the establishment of corporate culture trade in Chinese and English, and help Hangzhou build a world-renowned city with unique charm and an international cultural and creative centre.
