New York designers showed their strength and determination in the Spring/Summer 2026 season, even after a tough year full of global problems and store closures. As the fashion world prepared for a month of important new shows, the excitement grew with many first-time events.

London based designer Omar Mansoor held his first New York runway show after working in Paris; to present a full ready-to-wear collection. This season was all about new ideas, fresh starts, and bold moves.

Titled ‘Lapis Lazuli’ , Omar brought the old school-meets-Gen x-Charm with his signature style in pure silks.
The dresses ranging from Knee to full length and sleeveless to full sleeves with embellished semi-precious stones along Uzbek Ikat trimmings has something to offer to a wider audience.
