London Fashion Week, SS26 – Fashion Scout’s celebrated Ones to Watch platform introduced audiences to the visionary world of Jaoka Jaokha, who presented their latest collection, Temple of the Mind. The showcase captivated London Fashion Week with an immersive journey blending fashion, art, and experimental design.
Presented at Fashion Scout, the collection unfolded as an exploration of inner landscapes, where clothing became both sculpture and storytelling. Avant-garde silhouettes, architectural headpieces, and intricate metalwork brought a futuristic yet spiritual quality to the runway. The show’s title, Temple of the Mind, resonated throughout the collection, merging conceptual artistry with wearable experimentation.
Production values were equally striking, with visual and sound design, 3D modeling, and bespoke headpieces enhancing the show’s otherworldly atmosphere. Collaborations with sculptors, sound artists, and stylists underscored Jaoka Jaokha’s multi-disciplinary approach to fashion, turning the catwalk into a performance piece.
Hair, makeup, and styling fused seamlessly with the garments, adding layers of theatricality while highlighting each model’s individuality. The result was a showcase that challenged perceptions of beauty, craft, and identity in contemporary fashion.
