London, UK – The Paul Costelloe Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, unveiled today, marks a significant moment for the esteemed fashion house as William Costelloe presents his inaugural collection as Creative Director. The show, expertly covered and photographed for Fabuk magazine by our team member Paul Winstone, showcased a powerful statement rooted in modern tailoring and precise construction.
William Costelloe’s vision for the collection explores contemporary tailoring with bold proportions and meticulous cuts. Strong, structured shoulders and sculpted silhouettes were prominent, defining a collection that layered luxurious looks while honouring the Paul Costelloe brand’s enduring DNA.
The presentation commenced with exquisite tailoring crafted from 100% Irish wools and tweeds, sourced from Magee Fabrics. A fresh yet familiar beginning for the house was signalled by hand-crafted, sculpted florals, ingeniously formed from these same fabrics.
A refined interplay between structured and fluid fabrics was a recurring theme throughout the collection. Structured coats and corsetry were elegantly paired with silk and organza blouses, while oversized collars gracefully swept over the head. Wide pleated trousers introduced a sense of movement and ease. Tonal dressing, featuring blouses, ties, and colour-on-colour styling, further enhanced the sculptural tailoring. Knitwear played a pivotal role, with full cashmere rill and cable looks, large collars, and sculpted shoulders creating silhouettes that were both strong and elegant.
William’s colour palette remained concise and assured, transitioning from earthy tweeds, creams, chocolate, and tan browns into a striking finale of black and charcoal. The closing looks introduced a new dimension to the brand, showcasing subtle sequined suits and tuxedos adorned with diamante button details, alongside fluid black and silver jacquard dresses.
The collection also featured an in-house print, designed by Paul and William Costelloe in three colourways. This print serves as a poignant tribute to their final collaboration before Paul’s passing, an enduring testament to their shared creative vision.
For the third consecutive season, the Paul Costelloe house continued its collaboration with jewellery designer PK Bijoux. Their sculptural, one-of-a-kind pieces, which repurpose vintage elements such as medals, chains, and buckles, masterfully blur the lines between heritage and bold modern design.
William Costelloe shared his heartfelt sentiments: “My father will always be my inspiration. Creating beautiful clothes for all women to dream and wear with pride and love. Thank you for all your support.”
