Rising pop superstar Kim Petras is back with a trio of singles: ‘1,2,3 dayz up’ (feat. SOPHIE), ‘Homework’ (feat. lil aaron) and ‘If U Think About Me…’. These long-awaited fan favourites bookend the series of singles in Kim’s vault, including the critically-acclaimed ‘Heart to Break’ and ‘I Don’t Want It At All’.

The bubbly ‘1,2,3 dayz up’ (listen) is the heavily anticipated collaboration between Kim and Grammy Award-nominated avant-pop producer SOPHIE. With Kim’s synthesised vocals bouncing off fluorescent tropical synths, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect soundtrack for a Malibu Barbie pool party fantasy.

Since emerging as one of the biggest breakout artists of 2018, Kim Petras has earned true cult status among pop purists thanks to her brazen track record of fusing catchy melodies with heart-baring lyrics.

Homework’ (featuring lil’ aaron) (listen) shows Kim at her most stripped-back and vulnerable. Here her big vocals shine through the deeply personal lyrics reminiscing on a childhood friend, singing, “You used to let me cry on your shoulder / And I’ll never, I’ll never forget that… / And you always let me copy your homework / And I’ll never, I’ll never forget that.”

The final offering ‘If U Think About Me…’ (listen) is a thundering 80s power ballad, with longing lyrics designed for the ending credits of a Brat Pack film. As a child who grew up idolising Madonna, Freddie Mercury and Cyndi Lauper, it’s no surprise that Kim’s songwriting often manifests the extravagance of this era.

Kim Petras made her mark last year with a series of infectious pop singles, including the shimmering hit ‘Heart to Break’ (listen), which has had over 16 million streams and added to her more than 10 million YouTube views. She recently teamed up with multi-platinum selling, electronic music trio Cheat Codes on ‘Feeling of Falling’ (listen), which has clocked up over 100 million streams.

As a transgender artist in mainstream media, Kim continues to break barriers for representation. She was recently nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Music Artist, alongside Years & Years, Janelle Monáe, and Christine & The Queens. Kim also made InStyle’s “Badass 50 Women” list, honouring women who are changing the world.

After supporting Troye Sivan on “The Bloom Tour” and playing a sold-out headline gig in London last year, Kim will be headlining her first shows in New York City and Los Angeles between 22 – 25 February – all three dates were sold out within minutes. For all live dates, visit: kimpetras.com .

Kim’s Halloween-themed mixtape ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT VOL. 1’ (listen) smashed through over 1 million streams within five days and have clocked up over 7.5 million streams to date. Since releasing her breakout single ‘I Don’t Want It At All’ (#1 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart), Kim has amassed over 65 million streams. The bubblegum fantasy music video (watch) features a special guest appearance by Paris Hilton.

Her undeniable voice earned her recognition as a Spotify RISE artist, seeing Kim appear on billboards in London and Times Square, New York. She has been tipped as ‘one to watch’ by The Guardian, Noisey, i-D, NME, Music Week, The New York Times and many more. Her string of addictive singles also includes ‘All The Time’, ‘Can’t Do Better’, ‘Faded’, ‘Hillside Boys’, ‘Slow It Down’, and ‘Hills ft. Baby E’. Kim also collaborated with Charli XCX on ‘Unlock It’ (ft. Kim Petras and Jay Park) from Charli’s “POP 2” mixtape.
