LONDON, UK, September 20 – In 2011 the UN declared 11th October International Day of the Girl, to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. This year The Prince’s Trust and BARDOU Foundation will be hosting a drinks reception and dinner at Albert’s member’s club in Chelsea to celebrate and highlight the work being done to better the lives of young women and girls in the UK.
Influential guests and Prince’s Trust ambassadors, as well as celebrities from the world of fashion, music and film, will in attendance on the night. The night will culminate with the presentation of the IDG Award, presented by actor Idris Elba, and an after party where music will be provided by Housekeeping.
