A New platform for Young Talent and Emerging Accessory Designers

Pure London, the premium event for progressive fashion buyers, has announced the launch of Accessories Concept at the AW18 show. Spotlighting young and emerging talent, this new area will help catapult the careers of designers while offering a diversified and exclusive range of footwear and accessories.

The new, dynamic area, aims to help emerging accessory brands keen to enter the UK market, including contemporary Italian jewellery designer Laura Visentin. Duet Luxury will show its original and futuristic product portfolio of exclusive handcrafted accessories blending exotic natural wood, leather, and acrylic. Pop Cutie, created by Danish designer Cecilie Lindemose, will showcase its collection of Japanese pop culture-inspired accessories. While Kantala, inspired by Sri Lanka’s vibrant island culture, will bring fashion accessories including handwoven bags, clutches and purses.

N2 Paris

To support brand new talent and to offer buyers the opportunity to discover previously unseen designers, the Accessories Concept area will also support new talent by highlighting ‘ones-to-watch’. Designers showing for the first time in this area include: Binkevich Jewellery; Elizabeth Harwood; silk scarves, dramatic scarves and bags from Cuscus the Cuckoos; handmade jewellery by Rosa Pietsch; Un Homme et Une Femme; luxury crafted Italian leather bag designers Stabole; Bird Sunglasses; high quality Nepalese inspired knitwear from Urban Dhago; Kiwi + Pomelo bags and jewellery; and ethically made jewellery by Just Trade.

Duet Luxury

Featuring a host of new, international and niche brands showcasing their AW18/19 collections, the Footwear and Accessory Hall is set to be one of the best offerings yet for buyers, with exciting brands including Irregular Choice, Crime London, Holster, Dansk Smykkenkunst, Valentino Handbags, Les Nereides, and Ebarrito.

Premium Accessories, dedicated to luxury brands with limited edition collections, sees the return of Mame Huku after an incredible SS18 season. Its luxury evening bags are exquisitely and ethically made by hand from unique vintage silks from Japan, mid-century upcycled handmade jewels and sumptuous French silk velvets. Also returning are Scream Pretty. Visitors will also discover the beautiful new haute parfumerie brand July of St Barth.

Les Nereides

New to Pure London this season is Parisian costume jewellery makers Les Nereides, and its little sister brand N2 – created in 2004, N2 aims to be creative and quirky featuring original and refined collections for vibrant and funny girls with a dash of impertinence. From Nova Scotia comes high-end luxury hand painted silk scarves and dresses by designer Yana Movchan. Other premium brands not to be missed include Fraas and Christina Brampti and Carla M Jewellery.

Visitors will also be able to source the new collections from Dansk Smykkenkunst, Valentino Handbags, OBag, and regular favourites Big Metal, Nour, Bulaggi, Tif Tiffy, Bcharmd, Joomay, Nodova, Adele Marie, SENCE Copenhagen, and Bibi Bijoux.

In the Footwear Hall, returning to the show after a break are Irregular Choice showcasing their unique, embellished and mesmerising collections, as well as Crime London, Inuovo, and Marian, all part of Fashion Edge. New brands also include Inuiiki and Weekend Barber, while following its successful debut last season, global brand Holster returns.

Irregular Choice

The Premium curated section elevates Pure London’s dynamic footwear offering to cater to premium buyers and boutiques, looking for something special. Returning this season is luxury brand Mashizan, alongside Arche and Audley, Lola Cruz, C Doux, and Saz Shoes.
