Luxury fashion fabric fair will showcase a curated fabric
pavilion

Pure London, the UK’s only fashion and sourcing trade show linking manufacturers, fabric suppliers, designers, brands and retailers is pleased to announce that Textile Forum will be showcasing a curated fabric pavilion within Pure Origin at Olympia from 11th – 13th February.

Textile Forum is an established luxury fashion fabric fair and its Pure Origin pavilion will host premium fabric suppliers displaying their latest collections as well as demonstrating bespoke and customisation capabilities.

Julie Driscoll, Managing Director at Pure London says: “As brands and retailers work harder and faster to create an innovative and unique offer for their customers, the growth in personalisation is set to continue at a pace. We are delighted to link with Textile Forum and offer our Pure Origin visitors, including heads of sourcing and buying, technical directors and supply chain managers, the opportunity to meet leading fabric suppliers and discuss their requirements face-to-face.”

“Sourcing the right fabric, in terms of colour, design and price, is key to the success of a designer’s collection and more and more are looking for unique clothes to help create the differentiation from competitors,” explains Linda Laderman, co-founder of Textile Forum.

“Investment in new technology, such as digital printing, for instance, means designers do not necessarily have to commit to huge volume orders to get the exclusivity they want. Additionally, a growing percentage now have transactional websites so that buyers can purchase fabric online, often for next day delivery.”

Visitors to the Textile Forum pavilion will discover collections including silks, printed cottons, corduroys, linen mixes, imitation furs and natural leathers being shown by James Hare, Pongees, Anbo Textiles, G H Leathers and Bernstein & Banleys, plus information on the 100 plus collections from the UK, Continental Europe and further afield.

Additionally, Textile Forum’s Linda Laderman will be interviewing two womenswear designers as part of the Pure Origin seminar programme, offering an insight into how they develop unique fabrics for their collections.

Pure Origin takes place in collaboration with WGSN and Coloro. WGSN will offer visitors an exclusive and insightful presentation of the key manufacturing future trends for AW18-AW19. Coloro will demonstrate its intuitive, intelligent and universal colour system which is set to revolutionise the way the creative and fashion industry works with colour.

Held in the heart of London alongside Pure London and Pure Man, Pure Origin is the gateway for international manufacturers to break into the UK market, meet with thousands of visitors from the fashion retail ecosystem and be a part of a market whose growth rate is leading across Europe.
