1, Tell me about yourself, and what is your story and your becoming of a model?
Hello. My name is Alina. I am 14 years old. I live in a picturesque country – Ukraine. I am currently studying as a 9th grader. I started modeling at the age of 11. I studied in 2 modeling schools as well as in modeling courses.
2, What awards have you won in the past, present or will in the future?
I have participated in many beauty contests and fashion shows in Ukraine. My photos have been featured on the covers of more than 25 magazines in the United States, Australia, England, Africa, and Germany. I am currently the ambassador of the African fashion magazine PPMC. Furthermore, I’m preparing for the 2021 World Beauty Contest in Beijing.
3, At your age, what advice can u give to young aspiring individuals (especially the youth of our generation), in the fashion industry, concerning body image and mental health?
I advise you not to try to copy someone but to be yourself, to be an individual. Unfortunately, when you are more popular and your face is on the covers, your peers do not perceive it very well. Some envy, some mock and insult. However, I advise you to not pay attention and move forward. Learning, working on yourself and a strong will will help you succeed.
4, What is your favorite designer?
My favorite designer is Dolce & Gabbana. I’m just amazed by the incredible shows and the beauty of the models.
5, Do you find performing enjoyable to you at such a young age?
I like to do modeling at my age. I like to be photographed in different images and with different cool makeup. I feel like an actress, I live by it and I admire it.
6, What is your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to visit different countries in the world, to see how other nations live, to go to fashion shows of my favorite designers.
7, Which career path do you think you’ll choose when you grow older?
I am graduating from school and dreaming of entering the institute, which I think will still be my profession. I like the world of fashion, I like the work of a make-up artist, and I am also professionally engaged in horseback riding. I can say for sure that my future profession will be interesting, dynamic and full of fashion events.
8, How have you come this far in your career? And what hardship have you had to face?
The only difficulty I faced was not being able to understanding peers. Because I’m better known, I’m not very popular in class. Other children make fun of me but I actively fight against it and go further. I try not to pay attention, although it often becomes offensive.
9, Would you like to further your career even more and how do you plan to do that?
Of course, I want to continue to be engaged in fashion shows and modeling. To do this, I plan to start working with a modeling agency and attend several beauty contests as a participant and guest.
10, Do you believe your career choice will not only affect you in a positive way but others?
I want my profession not only to bring income but also pleasure. I will do my best to make everything work in my life and I hope my photos will continue to delight other people and adorn the covers of world magazines.
11, Who is your inspirational role model in and outside of the fashion industry?
I have no idols. I like a lot of fashion models. Each of them has qualities that I admire and I try to learn something from them – good poses for photos, beautiful movements. Unusual images?
But I try not to copy but to be myself.
12, Who would you like to thank the most for always being there for you in and outside of your career?
My mother Inna and my photographer Inna Romanyuk are always with me. They support and protect me. I listen to their advice and know that with their support I will succeed. I love them infinitely and thank you very much for your support.
