Kate Supanida Paosatheanpan – 9 years old model and star from Thailand
1, What is your story and why did u decide to be a model?
I was a model first job when I was 14 days old for cleaning nursing bottle product – Babimild for all prints in Thailand and also softener baby wear products of the same company – Babimild. After that, coz my family are celebrities, I have many jobs for many kid products. The first runway when I was 3 years old. I don’t know much about the model at the beginning but when I was 6 years old, I asked my father to be an audience for fashion show from the beginning until the end. I can know who is real models and it is the beginning of starting to learn how to walk on the runway at modelling school.
2, What awards have you won in the past, present or will be in the future?
– I want to be more a celebrity kid. I want to proud of myself about my ability. After I have studied for walking on the runway, acting class, piano, ukulele, guitar. I have joined in Prince& Princess international Thailand 2018. The first level – province class – I won Princess Andaman 2018 and popular vote award. Then, I won the country level – World Little Star Thailand 2019 and was representatives of Thailand going to join in Asia Pacific Prince& Princess 2019 in Singapore. Finally, I was Little Miss Asia Pacific 2019. After that, I had many prizes from many institutes in Thailand. And the big opportunities to be Young Thai style Ambassador of Ministry of Tourism and Sports and I was also Siamese Culture Ambassador of Ministry of Culture. I have joined in many big events in my country, for example joining with Boyzone concert – the international artist from Irish which my mother and my father love them so much, joining with Target concert -the artist from Korea. As for the future, I have planned to join in WCOPA in the USA about music, modelling and acting.
3. Has modelling always been your life’s ambition?
I love to inspire the others, I am in a small school without a swimming pool, without sports area and of course, not in the capital city. But now I can be on 20 magazine covers, many billboards around my country. Thanks to modelling that giving me to do. I am studying about music, singing and acting. I have acted in 10 Music Video. I have just started to sing in my single with my sister and my gangster. Now I have learned to speak to inspire the other too. After COVID 19, the world changes to be fast. I want to help many kids to be brave to be themselves and believe in their dreams and try to get them. Modelling is the way to help me going on to do it is easy. I’d loved it.
4. Would you call modelling a hobby or a job for you?
It is my life coz I have done when I was only 14 days old until now. I can support my school fees and prepare for my future life from my modelling jobs. Now I love it and try my best to develop to be perfect.
5. Do you have any other hidden talents besides from modelling?
I won many prizes for my drawings. My drawings changed to be cloths- printing for Zikul scarfs, selling in many shopping department stores in Thailand. My drawings also are in Gazebo Kids cloths, selling in Siam Paragon and the Emporium shopping department stores in Bangkok, Thailand. I can see my drawing on billboards, screens around Bangkok. I think it is my talent for art
6. Do you think in the future you’ll still be a model or would u have moved onto different career path?
I will be a model, actress, artist and maybe singer. I also find my way to do many things, for example cooking food, making bakery. I think it is very happy to learn about different things. My father is a dentist, he graduated in law and have a law license too. He also graduated in the master of Public and Private Management and Doctor of Management. He is my idol, my first love. I think I can do, can try, can achieve my dreams if I try my best to get
7. If u could have any other job in the world apart from modelling what would it be?
I want to be a tale maker.
8. How have you come so far in your career?
I think coz I do not stop to do and my family is my powers. My grandma cooking food preparing for me. My father helping me on his van. My mother helping with my clothes. My younger sister helping me all that she can. My team is strong.
9. Would you like to further your career even more and how do you plan to do that?
I want to be a tale maker or cartoon producer. I have started to learn about computer programming and drawing.
10. How do you believe your job will not only positively affect you but others?
I am not serious about the other side coz I love what I do. I am happy whatever I do.
11. Who is your inspirational role model in and outside of the fashion industry?
In the fashion industry, I love MiMi Tao Thai trans woman who working in New York and has many big jobs. She is my teacher too. Now she is the presenter of Reduced Inequalities, one of Global Goals for Sustainable Development in TOGETHERBAND project of the United Nations. Interestingly, I am also World Youth Ambassador 2020 for World Organization for 75 Th anniversary … as for outside of the fashion industry, my idol is King Rama IX of Thailand who is many talents, for example, music instruments and composing songs, sports, management.
12. Who would you like to thank the most for helping you grow, not only as a model but as a person?
Thank my grandma, my family for all that they do for me.
