1, What is your story and why did you decide to become a model?
I just wanted to try it, as it looked fun. My mum sent my picture to an agency and they accepted me, that was dream street models, they introduced me to the catwalk.

    Model Sydney Taylor
2, Do you enjoy being a model?

Yes, I love modelling, especially being on the catwalk and I get to meet lots of new people.

3, Has modelling always been your life’s ambition?
Well I’m only 10 so for the past couple of years it’s definitely been my ambition and passion

4, Would you call modelling a hobby or a job, to you?
Currently I say it’s my hobby, just because I’ve had no paid jobs, so I can’t really call it that.

5, Do you have any other hidden talents besides from modelling?
I can do different looks with make up, I also dance (ballet, tap and street).

6, Do you think in the future you’ll still be a model or would you have moved onto a different career path?

I would always like to do modelling, but i would love to own my own spa and become a successful business woman too.

7, If you could have any other job in the world apart from modelling what would it be?
Definitely, to own my own spa where I would do lots of different treatments including specialist treatments for people with skin disorders, I’d also do hair, makeup nails..the whole lot.

Sydney Taylor8, How have you come so far in your career? And what hardships have you had to face?
I haven’t gotten any paid jobs yet, although my agency submits me, it can be very disheartening, but I won’t give up, I’ll keep doing what I do and have faith that if something is meant to be, it will happen

9, Would you like to further your career even more and how do you plan to do that?
This year I’m competing in Miss Beauty UK, so I’m hoping that will open up some paths to explore. I want to do more catwalks too. I’d move to London, but mum won’t let me.

Sydney Taylor Teen10, How do you believe your job will not only affect you in a positive way but others?
I hope I can help others by letting them know that I wasn’t confident when I did my first few catwalks, I messed up and that’s ok. Your confidence will grow and that with support and friendship they will get there, people can apply that to anything they want to do not just modelling.

11, Who is your inspirational role model in and outside of the fashion industry?
Inside the fashion industry I really admire Winnie Harlow the model, she is full of confidence, she’s pushed barriers and she’s carried on regardless of what people have said about her, I love her.
Outside of fashion I really like Jaden Hossler, he’s a singer, the songs he sings always have a really good meaning.

12, Who would you like to thank the most for helping you grow, not only as a model but as a person?
My mum, she is always there for me know matter what, she takes me to casting, catwalks, wherever I have to go. She tells me it’s ok and not to give up when I don’t get a job. I couldn’t ask for a better mum.
