For over 12 years as Scandinavia’s leading hair extensions brand, Rapunzel of Sweden has grown to be one of the largest brands also across several European markets, always being inspired by the customer’s experience and impression. In response to the newest trends and individual customer wishes and needs, Rapunzel of Sweden presents a completely new colour range and adds 17 new colours to their collection – Balayage and Colormelt.

“We have acknowledged a great need and desire  for our customers to bring in even more natural hair colors with more life, and colours that matches existing hair trends, but also extensions for hair that is completely natural, uncoloured or sun-bleached ”, says Tove Virding, Marketing and Communications Manager at Rapunzel of Sweden.

The colours come in the very popular colour techniques Balayage and Colormelt, thus expanding the palette to almost 100 shades. The new colours come in several qualities, lengths and methods for hair extensions.

“It is a very fun and exciting launch where we have really involved ourselves, our own hairdressers and our customers to get the very best result”, says Tove Virding.

Balayage is a colour technique where the colour is painted on the hair in a sweeping motion to get a natural result. The darker tones at the roots and the lighter tones further down the length give the hair natural shifts and does not need to be maintained as often as a full-colour.

Colour melt contains at least three different colours, which means that the base colour blends into the coloured hair. The base colour should look as if it melts into the other shades of the hair. It provides a very soft transition that is desirable if you want to go further between visits to the hair salon.

The collection will be launched on 18th March on Rapunzelofsweden.com and in Rapunzel of Sweden’s own concept stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Helsinki. The products will also be sold at Rapunzel of Sweden’s retailers at a later stage.
