National charity Revitalise, known as the charity who provide respite care to disabled people and their carers, are delighted to announce a new partnership with Cefinn, the clothing brand founded by Samantha Cameron. Starting today and running until 21st December, £5 from all online orders made at Cefinn.com will go directly to Revitalise, helping to support their Care for Carers campaign, raising money to provide subsidized emergency care breaks.

Mrs. Cameron, wife of former Prime Minister David, has a special relationship with Revitalise, having been appointed Patron during a visit to their Jubilee Lodge respite centre, and hosting a fundraising dinner for the charity at Chequers. Samantha began Cefinn in 2017, creating chic, grown-up fashion with every piece designed to be smart, modern and feminine.

Samantha Cameron said:

“In the lead up to Christmas, Cefinn will be donating £5 from every order to REVITALISE – an amazing charity that gives the disabled a holiday away from home and their carers an invaluable break to recharge.

Having a respite break makes all the difference when helping to keep vulnerable loved ones at home and families together rather than falling apart.  The last few months of the Covid pandemic have been particularly tough.  As a Patron of Revitalise, and parent of a disabled child, I feel passionately about supporting such a dedicated team of specialised nurses, carers and their extraordinary army of volunteers.”

Revitalise CEO Jan Tregelles said:

“We are so pleased to be partnering with such an elegant and highly-regarded brand as Cefinn, made possible by the generosity of Revitalise Patron Samantha Cameron.

The money raised will go towards Revitalise’s Care For Carers campaign which is absolutely crucial for home carers who have reached breaking point through this pandemic with their care support removed and access to respite care eliminated.”

Speaking about the Cefinn brand, Ms. Cameron said:

“I wanted to design a collection that had a very modern fashion edge but was easy to wear, style and look after, (the majority of the collection is washable). I want to make it simple for women to feel fashionable, feminine and confident. As a busy working mother, partner and professional creative I was frustrated by not being able to find contemporary priced, high quality, go-to fashion staples to take me through breakfast with the family and a day in the office followed by an evening out with my friends.”

For 57 years, Revitalise has provided respite care breaks to a huge range of people. These are a vital lifeline to so many unpaid home carers and their disabled family members. The charity are aiming to raise £1 million as part of their Care For Carers campaign, to support carers and their loved ones to access respite care breaks following lockdown.
