Michele Miglionico together with the Pastificio Gusto Fantastico with a new format of durum wheat pasta dedicated to the “Madonne Lucane”
On the occasion of the inauguration of the exhibition “Madonne Lucane – Clothes that smell of incense” Giuseppe Focaraccio ceo of the pasta factory Gusto Fantastico has created three exclusive formats of durum wheat pasta inspired by three symbols of Catholicism: the Cross, the Chalice and the Bible in exclusive for the designer Michele Miglionico.
The pasta symbol par excellence of the Italian culinary tradition is combined with the world of high fashion to give life to a combination that aims to enhance the folkloristic, artistic, cultural, and sacred heritage of a territory little known as that of Basilicata.
“Pasta Sacra” is created by the pasta factory Gusto Fantastico, keeper of the ancient tradition of the Masters of Lucan Pasta Makers, known for its high quality in the production of the Artisan Pasta of Senise (Basilicata) and signed by Michele Miglionico, leader of Made in Italy excellence in the world .
The agreement between the Alta Moda brand Michele Miglionico and the pasta factory Gusto Fantastico signs an important co-branding initiative between two companies that represent two of the four Italian F: Fashion and Food.
For this prestigious appointment, the designer asked the creative genius of chef Lucan Andrea Uccelli to devise a recipe that would better interpret and enhance these new original pasta shapes that will be officially presented in the autumn during the Pret a Porter Woman in Milan.
