In the halls of the residence of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade the designer, Michele Miglionico is guest with his High Fashion to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Serbia.
The Italian Ambassador S.E. Carlo Lo Cascio and his wife Alessandra hosted fashion designer Michele Miglionico in the splendid residence of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, which presented for the first time in Serbia its High Fashion collection “Madonne Lucane”.
The event was organized by the Italian Embassy in Belgrade in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, the ICE Office and the Fabrika Agency, to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Serbia, as well as 10 years of establishing a strategic partnership between Rome and Belgrade.
In the halls of the residence, highly selected guests from the Serbian world of entrepreneurship, journalism and entertainment, together with some members of foreign diplomacy, were able to appreciate twenty-six creations by the designer Michele Miglionico from the High Fashion collection “Madonne Lucane” inspired by the female figures of the Lucana tradition and to the Madonnas venerated and carried in procession in this land and its popular culture.
During the fashion show, the models showed the precious workmanship of lace, embroidery and fine fabrics that distinguish the work of recovery by the craftsman and professional figures that are still present in the Basilicata (Italy).
The evening continued with a dinatoire cocktail where the very select guests were able to taste the typical dishes of Italian cuisine paired with Italian wines and passito wines.

Also present were Radmila Hrustanovic, former Mayor of the city of Belgrade and Ambassador of the Serbian Republic in Slovakia, Jadranka Jovanovic opera singer, first lady of the Opera in the National Theater of Belgrade and deputy of the Serbian Parliament, Maja Piscevic writer, Suzana Mancic actress, singer and Serbian television presenter, Vjera Mujovic Serbian actress and Vesna Mandic, director of the Fabrika fashion agency.
On this occasion, Mrs Alessandra Lo Cascio, wife of the Italian Ambassador, and Mrs Vesna Mandic, responsible for the Fabrika Agency, chose to wear a Michele Miglionico High Fashion dress.
