Randsel is a Japanese made backpack made of feigned leather.  They are the most demanded, talked about and used in Japan. Over 90% of the young schooler have them and love to carry their books in them because of their comfort and support!

Seiban Celebrating 100th Birthday; What The Future Holds (1)

Before Randsel, Books used to be transported to school by gigs or their servants used to bring their bags for them but this whole practice got banned in 1985, and that’s when Randsel was introduced for the kids, to the kids. To make their experience better on their shoulders.

Randsels are Dutch’s  “Ransel” or German “Ranzen” which means “backpack.”

The public started using backpacks in the Edo era. With the reforms in the military, the soldiers were given backpacks to carry their luggage instead of carrying that on their shoulders. RANDSELS are a modified version of these backpacks which were then used by soldiers to carry their luggage and now are used by young schoolers to carry their books. Reforms!

It was a tradition to give a backpack to the new school goers, and the tradition is still thriving but has adapted a better alternative, and that is a Randsel bag.

The production, the manufacturing, the stitching and the fitting is mostly done by hands when it comes to Randsel. The material of the bag and the stitching of it makes it good enough to experience some 6 straight years, which does not only make it durable but reliable and the most trusted bag in Japan too.

These bags are not just a charm for the Japanese kids, but it has achieved the status of a “souvenir” for the tourists!

The tourists love them because they are comfortable and are seen in anime and this has really elevated the craze in youngsters

They were first made black and red. Red for the girls and Black for the boys. The tradition still remains and will continue like the Randsel backpacks. However, Seiban is now providing a wide range of colours!

Chinese kids love them as much as the Japanese kids. They are even sold at the airports!

Chinese customers are pleased by the high quality of the backpacks as they need to be designed to withstand the unavoidable rough handling of young people.

More outlets have been opened in the duty-free lounges at major airports.

Seiban Celebrating 100th Birthday; What The Future Holds (2)“What we are doing today.”

Japanese schoolers have used the traditional satchels for more than a century now. And we, at Seiban, have introduced them to a wide range of colours, stuff, and style for the children of different artistries.

What are we doing today? Making a slightly modified version of the bags which were used introduced first? NO!

Rough, bummer or substandard products? NO, again

Are we just another in the market? Well, no again.

Seiban is making the most comfortable, manageable and sustainable backpacks. Which is not just another school bag or a backpack? We are, well, loved by the students and by the books equally. We are the chosen one. Their bags are not just backpacks anymore; they make the identity of a very student; they make them feel confident with their backpacks.

Seiban has  30% of the market share. Hundreds of bags are sold every day!

Seiban Celebrating 100th Birthday; What The Future Holds (3)“How are we the best?”

    Or what makes us special?

In the current world, with everyday backpacks have become trendy and convenient for everyone to take anywhere.

Seiban’s Randsel bags are made to have panel access for easy access and hectic-free opening and closing

The straps of their bags are excellently padded, which are no pain for the shoulders and the body

Their bags are the most carry able bags which can be carried for hours without causing an ache in your little shoulders.

They make their backpacks with the most durable synthetic leather

The traditional colours, red for girls and black for boys, are not only made. They make their bags in a variety of colours for students with different likes

Get up on school day, and you will see kids running around, in Randsel backpacks in their own colours feeling confident, standing out.

Backpacks are used widely by regular travellers. They are the topmost priority to pick when you want to travel light. You can simply adjust a backpack with you anywhere, which makes it reliable and mostly picked too. You can put all your essentials and carry them on your shoulder. People who like to keep their gadgets with them live backpacks for this reason too. If you want something near you for easier access, a backpack is your option, and a Randel backpack is the best option out there!

Seiban Celebrating 100th Birthday; What The Future Holds (4)“What the future holds?”

Serban is on their 100th anniversary, introducing their range of adult backpacks.

    Cruelty-free.

Given the fact that the earth is being crucified by their own hands while shifting from present to future, it is best to go cruelty-free and make their choices better. Save the planet.

Seiban is introducing their vegan backpacks for adults. They are cruelty-free. They are not only helping the adults with their luggage, but are also helping the planet by going vegan!

The backpacks for adults are manufactured to be proportional to an average human body. Their straps are padded and comfortable, the way it is at Seiban

One adult backpack can serve more than one purpose!

    It is made to

be convertible between a work backpack and a travel backpack

People around the world are choosing to go vegan at a very high rate in recent years, and this practice is estimated to become periodic in the coming years. Seiban takes care of not only their products but the sentiments of their customers too and the safety of our planet. Being in the list of progressive countries and to excel, even more, it is our moral duty to make some changes in our daily life. Choose a healthy alternative. Cruelty-free.
