The most important international event marked on a global level, EXPO Dubai 2020 is close to half of the total 6 months that this international exhibition will last. On January 19, 2022, “Serbia Fashion Week” in cooperation with the Sector for Entrepreneurship of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the national platform “Serbia Creates” of the Government of the Republic of Serbia will present Serbian fashion to the world. Fashion show will start at 6 pm at the Pavilion of the Republic of Serbia – EXPO DUBAI 2020.
Serbia Fashion Week (SFW) is a world-known project organized by the National Fashion Chamber of Serbia, which is the official member of the European Fashion Council (EFC). SFW is the 5th biggest fashion week in Europe and the biggest one in South-East Europe.
The fashion spectacle in the Serbian Pavilion will start at 6 pm local time, followed by fashion shows of the Serbian fashion team consisting of renowned local designers: Suzana Perić, Milica Tričković, Natasa Perkovski Adžić, Jelena Malešević and Nada Nikolić Krečković.
With this important project, Serbia Fashion Week is providing new opportunities for Serbian designers and confirming its leadership position in the region of East Europe, with over 30.000 visitors and more than 100 designers every year. SFW has signed 31 contracts of cooperation with fashion weeks all around the world.

This great day for Serbian fashion will end with the signing ceremony of the Partnership Agreement between “Serbia Fashion Week” and the platform “Fort Fashion Council”, Meydan Dubai, for creating two new projects:
Serbia Fashion Week Middle East &Fort Fashion Week Middle East.
Fort Fashion Council is a non-profit fashion council based in Meydan Dubai, United Arab Emirates, founded in 2021. Their vision is to become the first Middle East sustainable fashion week, also organizing officially endorsed Fort Fashion Week Middle East – Serbia Fashion Week Middle East event. FFC’s goal is to highlight values and opportunities within Dubai, for international designers and present global marketing solutions for regional and Middle East Asia designers.
The inauguration of those projects will be held on January 20th,2022 at DIFC Gate Avenue, from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.
Thanks to this important agreement, in addition to the traditional fashion weeks every spring and autumn in Novi Sad, a new platform is being created on which, from 2022, domestic and foreign fashion designers will organize “Fort Fashion Council” at the “Serbia Fashion Week Middle East” event once a year to have the opportunity to present their creativity at fashion shows, and thus to conquer the markets of the Middle East and Asia.
