London, June 2025 — Students from Sheffield Hallam University’s Department of Art & Design made a powerful impact at Graduate Fashion Week 2025, showcasing collections that spoke of purpose, creativity, and forward-thinking design.
Based in the university’s historic Old Post Office building, the department is known for nurturing innovation across fashion, jewellery, graphic design, and fine art. This year’s graduating cohort brought that multidisciplinary spirit to the GFW25 catwalk, presenting collections that explored cultural identity, sustainability, storytelling, and contemporary aesthetics.
The designers who lit up the runway included:

At Sheffield Hallam, students are encouraged to challenge conventions, embrace bold ideas, and craft designs that are not only visually compelling but also meaningful.
“We don’t start off expecting perfection — we start with passion,” says the Department of Art & Design. That passion was unmistakable in every stitch, silhouette, and concept that graced the GFW25 runway.
The future of fashion is clearly in confident hands — and Sheffield Hallam’s Class of 2025 is ready to lead the charge.
