Enjoy the return of long summer nights at the new exclusive Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto bar at City hotspot Fenchurch Terrace, 37 floors up in Sky Garden. The new pop-up bar will celebrate the botanical essence of the garden with a floral Rosolio aperitivo-focused menu.
Operated by rhubarb, the limited-edition Italicus Fenchurch Terrace will serve light, quintessentially Italian cocktails perfect for aperitivo hour and designed by head bartender Gaspare Di Carlo.
The botanically-inspired summer menu will showcase Italicus’s revived blend of the traditional Italian Rosolio category, which was the ‘aperitivo di corte’ during the Renaissance period. Italicus champions the citrus fruit bergamot, and the menu will include the Italicus Spritz, made with Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and prosecco; and the Negroni Bianco, mixed with Italicus, Vermouth and London dry gin.
A curated menu of delicate, seasonal bar bites – designed by Fenchurch Restaurant’s Head Chef Daniel Fletcher to perfectly complement the ripe bergamot and subtle floral notes of the Italicus serves – will include roast Isle of Mull scallop with spring peas, dulse seaweed and Lilliput capers and Mara de Bois strawberry and basil “Eton Mess”.
Perfectly hidden at the top of Sky Garden, Fenchurch Terrace is secluded and luxurious, with un-interrupted views of the city skyline. The terrace is perfect for pre or post dinner drinks and private bookings.
Book a table to secure your spot, or walk-ins and join the party after 6pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends without a booking. For all bookings and for further information, visit http://skygarden.london/fenchurch-terrace/.
