In Florence a great evening dedicated to solidarity: “With children’s eyes”, the Christmas charity event conceived by the cultural entrepreneur and presenter Claudia Conte is full of donations in its Florentine debut. The total amount raised, which will serve to support the precious work of Unicef ​​​​Innocenti – Global Office of Research and Foresight, has reached 200 thousand euros.

«An extraordinary result that fills us with joy – underlines Claudia Conte (who wore a dress by Alberta Ferretti for the occasion) -. Gestures of solidarity are never taken for granted, we have to thank the generosity of the many participants in the evening and of the companies that have decided to make a real, concrete gesture that will help us in this precious work of support for Unicef ​​and children”…

The evening, organized in Palazzo Vecchio within the Salone dei Cinquecento and in collaboration with the Municipality of Florence, experienced various moments of emotion and entertainment thanks to the performances of the numerous artists present who took one another on stage.

One of the most appreciated by the audience, over 250 people, and totally unexpected, was the one that saw Paola Turci, present at the evening together with her wife Francesca Pascale, sing ‘O sole mio accompanied on the violin by the mayor Dario Nardella, who later he also performed alone on the notes of (and it could not be otherwise on a special day like December 13th) Santa Lucia and Mattinata fiorentina. To applaud them, among the guests, also the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini together with his partner movie-producer Francesca Verdini.

The performances by Annalisa Minetti, who sang Invincible, Pino Calabrese who recited the poem Tre piccerille by Eduardo de Filippo, and the interventions on stage by the actors Chiara Francini, Roberta Giarrusso, Daniel McVicar and the maestro and ambassador of the Unicef ​​Italy Beppe Vessicchio

The evening, which had the patronage of the Tuscany Region, also saw the participation of the president Eugenio Giani, the general director of Unicef ​​Italy Paolo Rozera, the prefect of Florence Valerio Valenti, the prefect of Pistoia Licia Donatella Messina, the Deputy Mayor of Florence Alessia Bettini, Councilor for Education Sara Funaro, Councilor for Urban Planning Cecilia Del Re, Director of the Museo del Novecento Sergio Risaliti, President of the Istituto degli Innocenti Maria Grazia Giuffrida, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence Leonardo Bassilichi, the president of the Marini San Pancrazio Foundation Carlo Carnacini, the film producers Andrea Occhipinti and Maite Bulgari and various personalities from the world of industry and finance.
