SVENCUM, founded in Paris by Junyan XU in 2020, is a conceptual menswear fashion lable which seeks to maintain a balanced outlook on life and purse the radical romanticism. Moving between the words of art and design, the designer uses philosophical narrative of the common ward robes as the starting point for each collection, through its exclusive pattern language and unique sewing crafts each season.
Inspired by Jules Massenet’s Meditation, SVECNCUM AW21 collection was followed a classical narrative structure ，with a certain combination of Western classical violin music and traditional Chinese calligraphy, following Japanese traditional aesthetic system, SVEUCUM developed a unique printing technique to express the awareness of impermanence and the ephemeral nature of beauty.
