What a fantastical, fun and frenzied night at the theatre!

Who knew that paying your rent could be so much fun! Yes – “The Musical of Musicals (The Musical)” is about just that, but it’s also so so much more.

But what makes this show fantastic is the cast – they are all amazing in this 90-minute show where so much is spoken and sung I have no idea how they pulled it off – they are obviously all professionals!

While the producers could not afford to get the rights to well known theatre songs, they’ve created their own songs – parodies – genius!  Take offs on styles from Roger’s & Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Soundheim (including a dig at the poorly reviewed ’Here We Are’ (‘There You Are’) – the cast shine through and through, and work very very hard, to entertain us – and this they did! Kudos to Renan Teodoro as the Host, Caroline Featherstone, Joseph Dennington and Jennifer Harraghy. They all have bright futures ahead of them – they are all brilliant.

Double kudos to Director and Choreography Matty Hurst for pulling this insane and fun show together, with Jack Bennett assisting as Musical Director.

“The Musical of Musicals (The Musical)” was a one-night only experience, but the producer is hoping to get this on a bigger West End stage (the one off show was at the Phoenix Artists Club, but as much as we love this place the show needs to be seen by more people on a bigger stage).

Look for news of “The Musical of Musicals (The Musical)” in any theatre newsletter you subscribe to or on any theatre websites (or on the link below) as it is a must see – I’ll definitely want to see it again!
