The Teskey Brothers release ‘London Bridge’ – a momentous offering from their forthcoming new album, The Winding Way, out Friday 16th June. A dramatic and sprawling work, ‘London Bridge’ is a masterclass in songwriting and musical exploration, and once again spotlights Josh Teskey’s powerful vocals. Set against a lush musical backdrop of meandering guitars and soaring strings, it is as timeless and exciting as it is The Teskey Brothers at their most experimental and arguably, their best. Of their new single, Guitarist Sam Teskey says: “This song came about very organically in the studio. After working on a lot of songs that are all about love and keeping it together, this one is about those times when you just can’t keep it together. The inevitable demise of your soundings, whether it be a relationship, partnership or the place you call home. Something you think you are fighting so hard for but it’s crumbling beneath you all the same.”
The brothers are currently playing to sold-out crowds across the UK & Europe (selling over 40,000 tickets), including a sold-out show at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo. They most recently, played two headline shows in Amsterdam to 12,000 people. Following their Headline UK/EU tour, the band will support Bruce Springsteen in Milan and then Hozier on his UK tour in Dublin, Manchester, Cardiff & London before heading over to North America for their headline tour throughout August, September & October, with shows selling fast!
