On the times of big changes Epoka Revolution borns in Paris like a Capsule Collection developed in France By Mariana Flores Marin @marianacattoir, french fashion photojournalist who in her early years studied Journalism /Communication but also Fashion Design and Haute Couture, recently guided by Fashion Designer: Luper Gajardo/Floral Stylist: Violeta Gladstone/Illustrator: Laura Varsky and Designer Ana Blooms via their master classes, helped Cattoir’s projet to gave birth and create *Epoka Revolution*
The concept of fashion as the expression of freedom of the soul, culture, age, and transformation are the base of Epoka Revolution – Concepts representing stories with dresses which are sophisticated pieces focused on revel creativity beyond the merely utilitarian use, proposing an imaginary world developing a narrative thread for itselves. Fashion as part of the culture and huge changes has been always on Cattoir’s mind, working, living and traveling for several years in many countries, brought her to collect impacting experiences, she got wonder by strong stories of amazing people, she also brings her own cultural wealth mixticity south american and spanish. She was born in Huancayo-Peru, lived in the United States, Mexico and reborn in France having two nationalities, huge changes have always been part of her world, these pandemic times allowed her to have time to wake up sleeping passions like Couture.
Her creations are inspired in her natal country city Huancayo in Peru, but also Punk, Medieval and fascinated with Gothique Style and also Ballet touch. The general style of Epoka Revolution is: a Parisian gothique style with medieval touches and ballet textiles mouvements, volume made with recycled textiles with the mission of zero waste, using ecologically sustainable materials like the Yute and Alpaga laine in some pieces. It is a project focused on making clothes art- pieces inspired on recent and ancient cultures and big changes on ages and society.
