TS Graye, the emerging voice in alt-R&B, returns with reflective new single, ‘Green Light’. Described as a copy and paste message to your ex, the emotive single has been across Graye’s socials for weeks. Known for her introspective lyricism and captivating sound, TS Graye offers listeners an unfiltered look at the complexities of relationships whilst delving into the delicate balance between love, lust and loyalty. Listen [HERE].

TS GRAYE TEASES UPCOMING EP WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘GREEN LIGHT’

Of the new single, Graye says, “Green Light” captures the aftermath of a breakup, presented as a conversation. There’s a longing to reconcile, with both parties assuming the other doesn’t reciprocate. The hook pleads for a “green light,” symbolising permission to return and revealing mutual longing.”

TS Graye’s journey from recording on her mother’s phone in the small town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, to receiving support from key tastemakers such as BBC Radio 1, Apple Music, Notion, The Line of Best Fit, and Complex, is a testament to her talent and determination. Starting with her breakout single ‘MY2’ in 2018, Graye quickly captivated listeners and has since released her debut EP Graye Area and the reflective All For Love, both of which have garnered critical acclaim and a steadily growing fan base.

The ‘Green Light’ release follows the compelling effort ‘Someone Else’. Voicing the fragility of love, Graye delves into the danger of complacency and unfiltered truths. Also taken form the upcoming EP ‘All For Love’, ‘Mother’s Genes,’ is a heartfelt homage to maternal love and support. The EP promises to be her most vulnerable and profound project to date. Graye’s music, heavily influenced by the likes of Lana Del Rey and Frank Sinatra, is a blend of soulful vocals and emotional expression, drawing from her personal experiences and upbringing.
