London producer TSB has released his debut single Jagged Edge ft. Unknown T and M1llionz out now through Since ’93.
Achieving acclaim through his work as a producer, TSB has worked with the top tier of the UK rap elite, such as Stormzy, Headie One, J Hus, Dave, Mostack, Loski and AJ Tracey and notable tracks he has produced, include Headie One x Young T & Bugsey ‘Princess Cuts’ (#11), J Hus ‘No Denying’ (#33) and Dave ft. J Hus ‘Disaster’ (#8). An established curator behind the scenes, it’s now time for him to bring his own music to the forefront with Jagged Edge.
Sampling 2003 hit ‘Walked Outta Heaven’ by US group Jagged Edge, TSB’s debut track is the first drill love song, with themes of love and relationships combined with R&B melodies and UK drill sonics. Known as the creator of the ‘RnDrill’ sound, this first track gives an introduction to the newly developed genre.
He says; “I’ve always loved the idea of bringing different worlds of music together in a way that makes sense. R & Drill? Jagged Edge is exactly that. There’s two sides to every story. Two worlds in one. Two genres in one. This song is about love, but from different perspectives. Relationship love. As well as being in love with the streets and the life that comes with it. ”
