London, April 2 – Academy Award-winning actress Viola Davis made a striking appearance at the UK special screening of her latest action-thriller, G20, held at Cineworld, Leicester Square, on Tuesday, April 1. The red carpet event drew an enthusiastic crowd as Davis was joined by co-star Douglas Hodge, producer Julius Tennon, and the film’s director, Patricia Riggen.
Earlier in the day, the star-studded photocall took place at the iconic Trafalgar Square, where Davis and the cast posed for the press ahead of the much-anticipated screening. G20 sees Davis take on the role of U.S. President Danielle Sutton, who finds herself in a high-stakes battle when the G20 summit is attacked. Forced into hiding, Sutton must outmaneuver the enemy, protect her family, and defend global leaders in a gripping action spectacle.
Directed by Patricia Riggen, G20 boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar, and The Boys star Antony Starr. The screenplay was penned by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, Logan Miller, and Noah Miller, with a story by Logan and Noah Miller.
