Westislonely, the 20-year-old rock powerhouse from Manchester, is back with her second musical offering, ‘Cliché.’ Hot on the heels of her debut hit ‘Toothache,’ which catapulted her to viral fame, Westislonely is ready to shake up the scene again with an electrifying new track. Listen to the brand new single ‘Cliché’ [HERE].
Of the new single, Westislonely says that it’s about “the feeling of finally throwing the towel in, the feeling of everything bubbling over, sick of being gutless… that’s Cliche”
Hailing from Stockport, Westislonely is making waves with her anthemic, emotionally charged rock sound. Her music channels the frustrations and rage that resonate with young women today, whilst blending thrashing guitars and fierce, unapologetic vocals.
Westislonely first broke through with ‘Toothache,’ which earned an impressive 1.4 million TikTok followers and 100,000 Instagram fans. The single quickly caught the attention of BBC Radio 1, receiving early support from Future Artists with Jack Saunders and Future Pop with Mollie King.
Now based in Leeds, Westislonely draws inspiration from her older brothers’ love of rock legends like Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana. Despite battling severe anxiety and feeling like an outsider growing up, she found strength and identity in music. Her rebellious spirit and talent have fueled her rise, with the name Westislonely symbolising the outsider status she embraces thoroughly.
Brand new single ‘Cliché’ is the first taste of Westislonely’s upcoming debut EP. Like ‘Toothache,’ it’s packed with unfiltered honesty and explores the frustrations, rejection, and anger that have become her signature sound. Her music continues to connect with an ever-growing audience who relate to her constant upheaval of raw, real narratives.
Alongside the release, Westislonely will hit the stage for her first-ever live shows in Leeds and London.
