Today, multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-winning artist will.i.am unveils a new F1-inspired single and music video entitled “LET’S GO” featuring J Balvin, out now via RCA Records UK. It marks the second song released by will.i.am as part of a special collaboration with Formula 1® for the 2023 season. will.i.am and Balvin first collaborated on Black Eyed Peas’ global smash “Ritmo (Bad Boys For Life).” The song earned double-platinum certification from the RIAA, vaulted into the Top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100, claimed #1 on the Hot/Dance Electronic Songs Chart, Hot Latin Songs Chart, and Latin Airplay Chart, and has been streamed billions of times. “Ritmo” also won Sales Song of the Year at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards. “LET’S GO” marks the second collaboration between will.i.am and Balvin.
Earlier this year, will.i.am dropped “MIND YOUR BUSINESS featuring Britney Spears. Released in July, “MIND YOUR BUSINESS” topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales Chart at #1. The duo first topped the chart with their 2013 triple-platinum hit “Scream & Shout.” which was the chart’s inaugural #1. “MIND YOUR BUSINESS” followed will.i.am’s first solo single in a decade “THE FORMULA,” featuring Lil Wayne. The track was released as part of a collaboration with Formula 1 and is an ode to will.i.am’s love of the popular sport.
