AUTUMN / WINTER 2020 YOUNG N SANG debut their ‘Street Vendors’ collection, taking inspiration from the traditional street vendors of Korea which in their own uniqueness house a world of energy, colours, prints, miscellaneous fancies, and experimental fashions which disregard “the rules” of harmony and balance within the colour pairings, silhouettes and print choices creating a spectacle of inspiration paired with a deeper sense of individuality.
The dynamic duo and streetwear designing couple, Youngshin and Sanglim show an understanding that sustainable fashion has become more important than ever, and have taken a creative approach to furthering the strive for sustainability within the fashion industry as well as a care for the environment by using vintage oriental printed items as materials for their traditional hand-weaving and patch working processes. Street Vendors brings the excitement and flavour of Korean street markets to the high-end street-style culture.
