Brutally honest and inherently confident are expected lyrical traits from the rap master that is Young Spray but consistent with his recent matured and defined sound that has come to rise, he releases the Caribbean soaked, emotive gem ‘Asbestos’ featuring Frass.

With a reputation that precedes him, Young Spray is an enigma of the rap scene. The latest release of ‘Asbestos’ peels away at the harder surface that he often displays as he explores a relationship with genuine reflection, honesty, and emotion. Teamed with an enthralling melodic hook and a simplistic mesmerizing beat, Young Spray demonstrates his lyricism and ability to gel genres that are hugely embedded in his heritage. Mixing UK Rap and dancehall vibes, ‘Asbestos’ is bass filled and thug loving whilst being romantic and refreshing with a summertime twist.

Having previously teamed up on numerous stand-out collaborations with the likes of Skepta, Stefflon Don, Giggs, Chip, Ghetts, Wretch 32 and more of his fellow elite in UK music, Young Spray has an unquestionable work ethic, (he has released both the impeccable album Invisible Tears and notable mixtape RTM Vol. 4 within the last 9 months), and respect that has held him in the highest regard for over a decade, earning him both support and intrigue from every key DJ and tastemaker music site that in the game. His ability to dissect life experience through his lyricism and unique delivery is a potent reminder of exactly why “Young Spray is never not in demand” (Trench Magazine), and for the release of ‘Asbestos’, that demand is only growing.
