Are you looking for a new program to watch? Many of us can be put off starting a new series when it’s still airing as it can be overwhelming with so much to catch up on. Despite this, there are some series that are well worth catching up on, especially before they come to an end which you can then enjoy as they get released as a final hurrah.

Here are just some of the series you could consider getting stuck into before their final season starts:

    Stranger Things

If you haven’t already seen Stranger Things, where have you been?! Having already won five Emmys, Stranger Things is certainly no stranger to praise and recognition from fans and critics alike. First released in 2016, the show has very quickly gained a dedicated fan base, with stranger things shirts now a popular choice for Halloween year after year.

    Stranger Things

If you’re in the mood to explore an alternative universe, see lab-created superpowers used and creatures battled, all whilst falling in love with the main characters and their friendships then Stranger Things is most definitely worth a watch.

There doesn’t yet seem to be an official release date for the fifth and final series, meaning you should have plenty of time to catch up on the first four series.

    Succession

Now *technically* the final season of Succession has already graced our screens, but as it is coming out weekly, you still have sufficient time to catch up on the initial three series.

Nominated for almost 150 awards and winning 52, Succession is not short of success. With a star-studded cast that includes Brian Cox, Nicholas Braun, and Kieran Culkin, it was no surprise that the show has been a massive hit.

With the father of the family having built up a media conglomerate, his ill health causes a spiral of power struggles and fights for control. The show watches the family turn on each other and go to extreme lengths to assert their dominance. This is the perfect series to watch if you enjoy fast-paced dramas and want to see your only family quibbles put to shame.

    Handmaid’s Tale

With no release date currently available for the sixth and final series of HBO’s hit series, now is a better time than ever to start bingeing Handmaid’s Tale.

    Handmaids Tale

Based on the utopian novels by Margaret Atwood, the series explores the suppression of women in an extremist patriarchal society. Centred around fertility and power struggles leading to the enslavement of fertile women, the show explores some prevalent religious and gender themes.

Nominated for a staggering 75 Emmys, with 15 wins, and a plethora of other awards, you really have no excuse but to give this show a try.
