‘The Human Voice’ is the story of one woman’s final phone conversation with her longtime lover who has plans to marry another woman. And this film had it’s premiere at day 4 of the Venice Film Festival.

Starring the indispensable Tilda Swinton – and directed by the legendary Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, both appeared on the red carpet to promote their film. Swinton, who wore a beautiful white chiffon Chanel Haute Couture long-flared coat on the red carpet, had her hair swooped up to give another striking look that she is known for (two days prior she was dressed in all yellow). She carried in her hand a James T. Merry custom gold mask – an item that is going to be auctioned off to raise money for charity.

Her director – Almodovar – held her hand as they walked on the carpet – it’s just another day in the life of two very glamorous people.

Also premiering was the film ‘The Disciple’ – the story of a man’s lifetime journey devoted to the art of Indian classical music. Seen at the premiere was Prince Cosimo de Medici of Tuscany.
