Los Angeles, CA – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially determined the remaining nominees in key categories for the 97th Academy Awards, set to take place on March 2, 2025. The announcement finalizes the contenders in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film, and Best Picture categories, completing the full list of nominations revealed earlier on January 23.
Across the 23 Oscar categories, a total of 220 individual nominees have been recognized, not including the five countries selected for the International Feature Film category.

The Academy’s selection process follows strict eligibility guidelines, with producers required to qualify under the Producers Guild of America (PGA) eligibility rules or through a successful appeal.
Voting and Awards Ceremony
Voting for Oscar winners in all 23 categories will be open to active Academy members from Tuesday, February 11, through Tuesday, February 18.
The highly anticipated 97th Oscars will take place at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2, 2025. The event will be broadcast live on ABC, streamed on Hulu, and available to audiences in more than 200 territories worldwide.
