LOS ANGELES, CA – The Academy has unveiled the powerhouse production team behind the 97th Oscars®, set to air live on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The prestigious event, hosted by the legendary Conan O’Brien, will be broadcast on ABC and streamed live on Hulu, reaching audiences in over 200 territories worldwide.
Executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor, alongside executive producer Katy Mullan, will lead this year’s production, bringing together an elite team of returning and new talents.
Rob Paine returns as co-executive producer, with seasoned producers Taryn Hurd and Sarah Levine Hall also reprising their roles. Acclaimed supervising choreographer Mandy Moore, along with award-winning lighting designers Bob Dickinson and Noah Mitz, will once again bring their expertise to the show. Joining the team for the first time are producers Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney, adding fresh creative energy to the production.
The writing team boasts a dynamic lineup, including Amberia Allen, José Arroyo, Josh Comers, Dan Cronin, Jessie Gaskell, Skyler Higley, Berkley Johnson, Ian Karmel, Brian Kiley, Laurie Kilmartin, Carol Leifer, Jon Macks, Conan O’Brien, Matt O’Brien, Agathe Panaretos, and Mike Sweeney.
Previously announced key team members include director Hamish Hamilton, production designers Misty Buckley and Alana Billingsley, and music director Michael Bearden.
The 97th Academy Awards will take place at the iconic Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, celebrating the best in cinema with an unforgettable night of entertainment, glamour, and history in the making.
