Paris, France – Chinese luxury brand ZOUXIN unveiled its latest collection, “Earth’s Memory – Manifested Silhouettes,” in Paris during fashion week, presenting a poetic conversation between centuries-old Chinese craftsmanship and contemporary design.
Designer Xiong Yan framed the collection around the brand’s guiding philosophy of “returning to nature and living with heart.” “Let the world understand China through Xiangyun yarn. Finding the true self is the beginning of all things,” Xiong said, capturing the collection’s vision of cultural memory and modern artistry.
At the heart of the collection is Xiangyun yarn, a UNESCO-recognized ecological silk, hand-dyed through a labor-intensive process. Song brocade, tin embroidery, Italian yarn, and jacquard heavy satin complemented this rare fabric, shaped by precise Western three-dimensional tailoring.
The color palette evokes natural landscapes and shifting skies: Dark Night Black, Peacock Blue, Stone Green, Lama Red, Champagne Gold, Twilight Mountain Purple, and more. Flowing coats and sculptural gowns balance practicality and artistry, their hand-embroidered motifs referencing the Palace Museum, Dunhuang murals, and the Ming dynasty phoenix crown.
Founded in Shenzhen in 2013, ZOUXIN operates across China, Taiwan, and Italy, creating fashion that honors the planet while transcending borders. “Every trace of dyeing is a dialogue between the earth and time,” Xiong noted. “The true self we seek is hidden in the natural memory of things at the beginning.”
Select looks from the Paris runway will be available through ZOUXIN+ in Shenzhen and online at Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and Taobao. The show highlighted how Chinese heritage fabrics and sustainable craftsmanship can speak a universal fashion language.
