Europe trips during summer are the best. Imagine spending your days sipping Huge Spritzes on the terraces or nibbling on plates of calamari. There’s no end to the options.

I prefer swimming in clear waters and cherish all the historical buildings Europe offers. However, the best part about Europe is that it is also suitable for laid-back travellers.

You can also spend your vacation in a serene villa, gazing over fragrant jasmine gardens or alleys covered in bougainvillea. Whenever you are ready for the ‘Euro-Summer’ vibes, let’s start listing the best European cities to explore:

    1. Dubrovnik, Croatia

A perfect destination for Euro Summer, Dubrovnik features the Hugo Spritz, a bar located inside an actual cave. The place has a spectacle of swimming spots. You can calm yourself down there, at the end of your day in Dubrovnik.

The city also flaunts some of the best architecture I have seen during my European trip. The same goes for the natural habitats and tourist spots. I loved visiting the Elaphiti Islands on our private boat. Our trip to Bosnia, Trebinje, was another major highlight of the Dubrovnik trip.

Best Months of the Year: May to September, avoiding July and August, the two peak months when the crowd gets out of control.

    1. Rome, Italy

A trip to Rome with a couple of friends is the best way to see around. Barring a fine beach, this inland country has it all. Most tourists out here love the fountains galore.

The food in Rome is a bonus. I enjoyed the gelato at Giolitti and the pasta at Armadio al Pantheon.

While in Rome, you can’t miss the beautiful city centre, which offers enough glimpses into Roman history. Next, visit the spectacular Villa Medici. We went for the evening Vespers service at the Vatican’s St Peter’s Basilica.

Best Time To Visit: June to September

    1. Kotor, Montenegro

Montenegro is one of the most delectable destinations in Europe and one of the most underrated tourist destinations. It is surprisingly calm and serene, and compared to Dubrovnik, it is much cheaper.

It is a tiny European country. The awe-inspiring fjords hover around here. When the mountains come down to the waters, the fjords are formed. The best part is that the place is pretty small, so you can cover all the major locations in just two days.

While in Montenegro, you can’t miss the trek up the old fortresses in Kotor town. Secondly, spend a good evening in Porto and a day at Tivat’s Nikki beach. The daytime party vibes at this beach are amazing! You will also come across multiple swimming pools on the Bay of Tivat.

Best Time To Visit: May, June, and September

    1. Moraira, Spain

One of the best sites of the Costa Blanca region in Spain is Moraira. We booked the same villa for a grand visual spectacle from the balcony each time we went there.

Moraira has jaw-dropping beaches, numerous restaurants with cocktail bars, and a lovely charm.

Moraira is a big town. However, the place has a relaxing aura. Usually, the older crowd flocks here. If you are planning a European trip with your family, you can bring them here.

For a family vacation, the transport is another matter.

A private jet charter would be a good option to cover the most spectacular places around Europe. Read more to learn about private jet booking in detail.

I also love visiting Moraira, as the city is a gateway to other Spanish towns. If you plan to see Valencia next, it is only an hour’s drive away!

Best Time To Visit: June, July, and August

    1. Kefalonia, Greece

This is a spectacular Greek island. People usually hate missing places like Santorini and Mykonos, but they easily miss out on smaller towns like this.

The place is beautiful. The white sandy beaches are especially a visual treat. But the best part is the mystic Melissani Caves, which are known for the naturally developed skylight. The reflection falling on the water makes the place dazzle.

King George’s castle also counts among the list of must-visit places. Once you are done sightseeing, enjoy lunch at the Kastro Cafe.

Best Time To Visit: June, July, August, and September
