Falling asleep on the plane can be trickier for some more than others. In long haul flights especially, not getting any shut-eye can leave you feeling sluggish. While a few lucky few can pass out easily, the attempt of gaining quality in flight sleep proves a struggle. This then leads to several nights of playing catch-up once you arrive at your final destination.

There are a few tried and tested methods that can leave you feeling well rested after a long flight. Christabel Majendie, resident sleep expert at Naturalmat has revealed the ones that work so you rest en route.

1) Comfort is key

“Long flights can provide a lot of discomfort so it is best to do everything you can to sleep. If you want to achieve a snooze, comfort is in your clothes.
