Abhishek Dutta’s latest offering for this summer is his new resort wear collection named Jole Jongole is a fun, vibrant yet defining resort wear collection from Abhishek Dutta this season. As the name suggests it’s all about the tropical jungle feel but deep behind it is a more meaningful cause of stopping deforestation and conserving our wildlife for a better future. Similarly, the collection is all about sustainability and is made of cotton and Chanderi sari (Traditional coin).
Vibrant jungle prints, flamingos and tigers are throughout the collection with neon contrast taping. The collection is a mix of signature structured jackets with flowy dresses and interesting separates. Asymmetrical cuts, draped dresses and jumpsuits are the key Silhouette. Zipper detailing and hand-embroidered and leather appliques add an interesting touch.
This resort wear collection is all about vibrancy and joy post-pandemic…and is showcased in a unique and vibrant sundowner concept with a collaboration with India’s biggest rap band Underground Authority playing live during the show. the band features MTV hustle and India’s got talent famed EPR as a lead rapper.
This was in collaboration with Novotel Kolkata and the showcase happened at their open terrace, Le Jardin. This event is also about a sustainable future with meaning and highlights the cause of saving the rainforest.
Mercedes Benz India also extended their support today for the sustainable cause and showcased their EQ electric vehicle with zero carbon do oxide emission for a better future.
